About The Pet Sitting Coach

Hello. My name is Michael Libys. In January 1995, I was laid off from my job selling in the medical field. It was my third layoff in four years and I became determined never to work for anyone again. After the layoff, I explored several different opportunities. I loved animals and pet sitting seemed like a perfect fit.

After much research, I wrote a thirty page business plan that became the blueprint for my pet sitting success. In June 1995, Pet Serve Inc. was officially launched. Through years of experience, I learned and excelled in the business and industry of pet sitting. Pet Serve's diverse client base grew and revenue increased each year.

In late 2003, I moved from Gaithersburg, Maryland to Lakeland, Florida. I sold my client list to another pet sitter and relaunched Pet Serve. A few years later, another passion of mine tugged at me. I always wanted to make a difference in the lives of young people and my desire to teach and guide them lead me to earn a Professional Teaching Certificate in the state of Florida.

Today, I teach and tutor students of various ages in a variety of academic subjects. I stopped focusing on day to day pet sitting but instead combined my two passions, pet sitting and teaching to form the www.thepetsittingcoach.com.
